Week 15 marked the largest SPGL weekly Starcraft tournament to date with over 200 registered players. We saw many familiar names as well as some first timers in the top rounds but when the dust finally settled it was long time SPGL tournament player Ruff vs the previous week's champion, tQPumpf. Ruff did his best to please the viewing crowd with some interesting off the wall TvT strategies, but tQpumpf had his number all night with the correct counter builds. To check out these interesting VODs visit the livestream channel over at www.livestream.com/thespgl
tQPumpf took home $20 while Ruff earned himself some lunch money for next week. $5.
Be sure to take a minute and read a quick interview of these players conducted by Draekan in the Starcraft forums. The thread is located here
Sign-ups have been extended until 12:00PM EST for the week 15 tournament. There will once again be a cash prize to the finalists this week so make sure you get in on the action and sign up now. Be sure to check out the livestream link at the top of the site once the tournament gets started to view some great matches.
